PROPOSED SPECIAL RESOLUTION

At this year’s AGM, members will be asked to consider a Special Resolution proposing two changes to the Business Lennox Head Constitution.

The proposed changes would allow the annual AGM to move from October to July and update the provisions relating to participation in Business Lennox Head subcommittees.

Moving the AGM to July would better align the Chamber’s governance cycle with the financial year and provide greater continuity across major projects, events and grant commitments, including the Love Lennox Festival and Lennox Alive Grant.

If supported, the Executive and Committee elected in October 2026 would serve through to the proposed AGM in July 2027, when the new annual election cycle would begin.

Members with questions or feedback regarding the proposal are encouraged to contact the Executive before the AGM.
